BlogHer, that amazing community for women, has a wonderful contest going. BlogHer wants to know who is your favorite blogger. The winner will go to BlogHer 08 all expenses paid.
I happen to know a certain hero who is deserving of the title "BlogHer Hero". She is a passionate writer, an innovative business woman and tireless women’s support community builder.
Megan from Velveteen Mind should be this year’s blogging hero.

She beautifully described the heartache of Katrina
She puts it all in perspective
She taught us to pull up our big girl panties and never mope in self pity
She writes here to support other moms who work hard to stay home for their families.
She is soon launching Blog Nosh Magazine. This will be an online magazine devoted to sharing stories from women all over the web.
She started the ’squatter’ guest blogger movement. This sharing of her blog gave other bloggers a platform for greater exposure.
Once you ‘meet’ the most gracious and humble Megan, you have a wonderful friend for life.

oh my gosh~ I can’t wait to hear how Megan feels about these images, hah! Fussy is too durn funny fer her own good. And I had no idea Megan had such a penchant for changing her hair color so often… who knew?? Could this have anything to do with the Bossy stalking, were reports filed perhaps?

I’m a really gentle mother.
But I do also happen to be a broke mother because I have not reopened that work-at-home business since our move, so I whole-heartedly accept this nomination and will pray pray pray that someone listens to you.
Otherwise I’ll be walking to BlogHer and I ain’t no BOSSY. Even if Nike & Adidas & Aerosoles sponsored my trip, I don’t think I’d make it on foot. If I did, I’d totally be Hot by BlogHer, though.
