Fussy’s Linkapaoolza -Mothers RAWK!

by Allison Worthington on May 11, 2008

Happy Mothers Day to all the supa-fab Mommies out there. I love you and feel your pain. Hee, hee…

Fussys_weekly_favorites

Domestic Chicky (I adore her) found this sweet little post and shared it with me. Do you have a mom? Are you a mom? You’ll love it, too.

The Tracey Porter blog is a gem. This post makes me sure I want to be her when I grow up.

Oh my aching Fallopian tubes! Ella is one.

I could have written Jenny’s post. We must be long lost sisters.

Oprah & Tom. Tom & Oprah. It is a blogger’s dream come true. Bossy gave us a priceless recap that once again shows us why she is the Queen of the Blogs!

I kinda want to be cool, smart and all-articulate like my homegirl. Now Megan is in an MSNBC article. She disappears for 4 months and reemerges, hangs with Bossy and already MSNBC covers her? Good thing I’m friends with her. I can say, "I knew her when."

"Look into my crystal balls. BALL!! I meant ball!! Look into my crystal ball…"

Congrats to the continually funny Smiling Mom! Send your address and earring choice quick, honey. I check into the hospital Tuesday night at midnight. Yes, midnight, I know….(fussy shakes her head sadly)

I have an all-star group of A-list, hilarious and super talented guest bloggers lined up starting Wednesday with the aforementioned Megan at Velveteen Mind. I will be reading and enjoying everyone’s brilliance just like you! Also, for all my twitter friends -Karla will be twittering updates while I’m in the hospital. Be sure to follow @Karpo here to get the latest baby-birthin’ scoop!

Seems sad not to have our weekly caption contest. I thought about keeping the jewelry gift going over the next couple of weeks, but I had to face reality. It takes me 1 to 4 weeks (oh, the shame!) to get weekly winner jewelry made and delivered. So could I be responsible to mail out jewelry over the next two weeks? Um, not so much.

Your captions are the best part of my whole site! Would you still want to play? I hope so. Please leave your funny captions below, even super long ones. We all are counting on you to keep up the tradition for the next couple of weeks, K?

Here goes…

Tomorrow I’ll post that fun giveaway I promised last week. You know me, always running behind schedule. Can we say it’s part of my charm? No? Oh well, it sounded nice.

Love you, Fussy

Tom and Sharon normally hated the matchy-matchy look that tourists wore. Until they found their own special niche.

Do these socks match my outfit? No? Ok, well do they at least match my poncho?

Mildred was so happy she remembered to pack their galoshes. Without them they would have felt utterly ridiculous.

Hey honey, check it out! She is wearing a red thong under HER slicker!

See, aren’t you glad I packed us some extra underwear? At least we don’t look totally ridiculous.

I just can’t shake the feeling that we forgot something… Oh well, it can’t have been that important.

I see that photo and the Brady Bunch song pops into my head:
“I’d like to go for a walk outside now, the summer sun is callin’ my name…”
(And that’s weird cuz they’re holding umbrellas…oh well.)
