"cocoon of love"

I am in love with the asian style babywrap. It is the first time in 10 years the babies don’t hurt my back. Pure bliss.

"overwhelmed"

Our house finally sold after eight months.Yay! We have 8 more days to pack. It makes me sad to pack up and go. Mr. Smartypants is still interviewing & flying out this week for even more. We’re having a hellacious time finding a hospital with the right salary range. The immediate future is still up in the air. But the good news is the post-partum hormonal roller coaster is smoothing out. Double yay!

"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to give you a hope and a future. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. I will be found by you," ~Jeremiah 29:11-14

Hope you are having a great Saturday. I’ll be here packing, babywearing, and catching up on my reader.

Love, Fussy

I will be saying a prayer for your husbands job situation. It sounds familiar to our situation. You chose a perfect verse- Jeremiah 29:11-14. I am also clinging to
“Trust in the lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.” Proverbs 3:5-6
I pray your efforts with packing and caring for the children do not run you down. God Bless-Lisa

Wow. You truly are an inspiration. I can’t imagine how you have the energy and spunk you do with all of the things going on in your life. I’m in awe.

Good luck with the move.

That is my favorite verse, Alli. I can imagine that you are seriously overwhelmed now. Just keep resting in God, and I know He will amaze you. An analogy I’m sure you can relate to; these are the birthing pains, and soon you will be blessed with something so beautiful and rare!
Love the pictures!

I guess I’ve been having a stressful week with Jake in the hospital and crazy food allergies that were recently diagnosed. How do I know this? I just started bawling when I read:
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to give you a hope and a future. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. I will be found by you,” ~Jeremiah 29:11-14
Thank you for reminding us to have faith. I wish you well on your journey. BTW what lovely children!

Um. Now I am feeling like smacking myself because S.M.’s comment came up as I was posting mine. My comment looks so insensitive in the light of what she’s been going through. But really, I cling to that verse when life is hard. I know God will bring something good through all the tears. Love you all.

I loved carrying my last baby in a sling. The picture made my heart do a little flip. Now the picture of the moving boxes…um made me glad that I am not in your shoes. But that was me exactly one year ago, only I was in the unpacking stage.
Prayerfully the move will go smoothly.

I’ve been thinking of you so much the past few days. I can’t imagine everything on your plate and hormones added in! I would offer my assistance but who am I kidding? There is a permanent indentation on my couch from my butt at this point. So if there is anything non-physical I can do to help – just yell.
And is that a mei tai wrap? I’ve been trying to decide what type of wrap to try with Tessa when she comes along and I’ve been asking everyone what they like.

Congratulations on the home sale!!!
Isn’t Jeremiah great? We made that passage our family Scripture right after we were married (almost 18 years ago!) and have clung to that promise many times over through births, illnesses, and cross-country moves.
I’ll be praying for you as you pack and move! Blessings, blog friend!

Congratulations on the house sale – and may I say that those children are gorgeous! I have a teensy little bit of baby envy. And the job thing? It will all work out in the end. It always does, right?
