The Dude Says Hi

Dscn0593

**ahem**

Dscn0596

Oh hai!

You must be looking for my Mom.

Dscn0599

She’s busy today.

We are at the hospital getting my gigantic tonsils and adenoids removed.

Dscn0607

Rumor has it that I snore like a 700 pound man.

Mom says something about Sleep Apnea.

She hopes I will be able to get a good nights sleep one day.

She hopes she will sleep one day, too!

Dscn0612

If you need me, I’ll be here watching Backyardigans, Max & Ruby and eating my body weight in popcicles.

Mommy will be back here tomorrow. Guess what?  She’s still be sleepy.

Love, the dude

Poor Mum – it is so much harder for you, it was for me. My boy snored from birth and I always had to cover him and put him back on his bed (he was always hanging head-first out)…but once he had those tonsils and adenoids out, woo-hoo. No more snoring or falling out of bed. And he sleeps sound all night! He does still trash the bed, but I guess that happens when you’ve got hot-blooded men in the family (the females are the ones that feel the cold in our house).

Morning Dude! I’m sure by this time you are in sleepy land and mom and dad are pacing the waiting room or passed out catching some zzz’s.
You’ll be great!! Remember: ice pops

My son had this surgery when he was about your son’s age. He slept so much better afterwards. Just a heads up Fussy…if you’re used to waking up in the night and “checking” on him just by listening to the snore, its a little disconcerting at first. The first couple nights I flew out of bed in a panic thinking something was horribly wrong because I didn’t hear any snores coming from his room. He was of course just fine. Snuggled up in his bed sleeping like a rock!
Dude, enjoy the popsicles!
