My favorite thing about our community of women bloggers is our diversity. Black, White, Christian, Jew, Agnostic, Republican, Democrat or Libertarian; the things that can separate us “in real life” are so often afterthoughts online. We all operate on a heart level online. We all look the same through our computer screens.
I have never been to Blogher. My first blog conference was the one I threw! I am beyond thrilled to go experience the “Big Mamma” of events. If you are going, you may have heard rumors of “exclusive parties, cliques, and mean girls.” We all cringe at those.
What is the solution? How do you arrive in Chicago Thursday and feel immediately comfortable and welcomed? How do you feel part of a tribe from night one?
