goin mobile 300x225 Weekly Winners from my Blackberry

We are goin’ mobile! So far I have fished out a chewed up watermelon seed, aluminum foil big brother crafts, half a crayon, and a few rapid dust bunnies out of his mouth. Time to start keeping the floors clean again. :)

25 laps around the house. Not so bad when you know your brother has 100. Builds character and helps them remember in our house we have rules. And yes, I did enjoy taking a picture as they ran.

Had a fab dinner at Mere Bulles with friends Sweetie, Angela, Stephanie, goofball, and David Cooper. Filet with lump crab and asparagus almost made me tear up a little it was so yummy.

Ok, this picture has nothing to do with my week. I just didn’t take any more pictures and I love this and wanted to use it. :)

My darlin’ Lotus has fab pictures, unlike mine, in her Weekly Winners. Be sure to check them out.

I borrowed an 8 months old a while back. I was reminded of how clean my floors once were…I wish you luck on that venture!

Also, you look fancy smchanzy at that restaurant!

Laps around the house, hmmm…. Except we have a dog and they would have to open and then close two gates. Though the dog doesn’t go far without me. Then again, I don’t think my side garden would ever be the same again if they did it even once.

Love the sandcastle pic. :)

I am definitely keeping the laps around the house in my back pocket for one day! Ah yes, the ever cleaning the floors chore now that you have a scooter again!

One of my brother’s tricks (he also has 5 boys) is to have them maintain push-up position until they’re tired (or remember about the rules, etc.)

Also, my son has recently developed a “fear” that requires him to leave his bedroom repeatedly at night. Tonight I decided that if he’s going to be up, he may as well clean the bathrooms and vacuum the floors. I might actually look like a competent housewife if he keeps this up!

I’m totally using the run around the house thing!!!! Love it!

Now, I won’t tell them mommy heard about that from one of her friends’ blogs. They just think my *computer work* is crazy anyway!!! But, this time I’m using something I learned from it…to torture them…er…help them build character like you said :)

The laps around the house is a great idea for discipline! Except I no longer have anyone here to discipline … except my husband…. and he NEVER does what I say!

Hi Friends:

Michael here from Rhode Island USA, (Newport). I have 3 beautiful girls who are 11, 8, and 4. I never spanked any of them (except once). Hannah, my 8 yo was not aware of my presence in our home and I caught her “punching Natalie, my 4yo. Natalie was in pain and crying as this entire scene devloped because of a toy issue. I walked quietly over to Hannah and swatted her bum with all my “hand power”. She leaped up like a frightened cat and cried for almost two days. Emotion caused me to spank w/o thinking first (but) she has never harmed Natalie since (going on 14 mos). I guess my point was taken by her and now if she is a bit out of control I just show her my hand and she immediatly complies in a positive manner. I do not think my control would have been so out of whack, but seeing her harm a little girl I loved, caused a momentary lapse, maybe for the good?
